Nine (9) semester-hours of coursework per semester (six hours during the summer term) are considered a full graduate course load for all graduate programs except communication science and disorders and graduate nursing. Six (6) semester-hours of coursework per semester are considered a full graduate load for students pursuing a degree in communication science and disorders and graduate nursing. Any graduate student wishing to register for more than 9 semester-hours in a given semester/term is required to have the approval/signature of the school dean or the appropriate associate dean or program director prior to registration.
300-Level Courses
Graduate students may not apply 300-level courses toward graduate degree requirements.
400- and 500-Level Courses
Undergraduate students may enroll in graduate courses only with the written permission of the dean/director of the program in which the course is being offered.
