Punctual and regular class attendance is expected of all students. Students are directly responsible to instructors for class attendance. They should request that the Office of Student Affairs at (773) 298-3121 notify their instructors of an illness or emergency. Excessive absence, even for serious reasons, may disqualify a student from receiving academic credit. In the event of foreseeable absence, the student should make suitable arrangements with instructors regarding work. Reported absences do not relieve the student of academic responsibilities. The student should take responsibility to obtain class notes and assignments.
