The Liberal Studies major in the Continuing and Adult Education offers a unique interdisciplinary curriculum. This program is excellent preparation for students planning to go on to graduate work, particularly in law, social services or human services. The Liberal Studies program not only provides a broad background in the liberal arts, it offers students the option of a concentration in Business Administration, Computer Studies, Communication, Criminal Justice, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. The unique quality of this program is the flexibility of curricular options as the student reaches upper-division work.

Area of concentration requirements: select (one area only) from business administration, communications, computer studies, criminal justice, history, religious studies, psychology, sociology, social science or philosophy (other areas available with approval of the Dean) . At least 9 credit hours in the area of concentration must be completed at Saint Xavier University.
General distribution courses requirements: select from (choose five courses from three areas) art, criminal justice, computer studies, foreign language, history, mathematics, music, philosophy, religious studies, science, sociology/anthropology.
Electives to complete 120 credit hours.
